Game Suggestion of the week!

Last night I finally beat Luigi's Mansion! It's a short game compared to other games i've played, but  it was worthwhile. It only took me around a half a week to beat. It was a fun experience hooking up my gamecube and reliving some of my childhood. Luigi's mansion isn't as straight forward as other games, so you may have to look up a walkthrough to make it through the game.
Luig's mansion is set up that Luigi won a mansion for a contest that he didn't enter. He tell his brother mario to meet him at the mansion. When Luigi makes it to the dark mansion he can't find his brother mario. This is where his journey begins. Luigi has to start a quest through the mansion to find Mario. When you enter the first room you are ecountered a casper looking ghost. Out of the blue an old man pops out and tries to suck the ghost up with a vacumn. After you both are overwhelmed the old scientist takes you back to his lab. In this lab he teaches you how to use the Poltergiest 3000. This is your main tool throughout the rest of the game.
In Luigi's Mansion you have to catch ghost in order to progress through the game. You catch ghost in the mansion with your Poltergeist 3000. It's a super powered vacumn! You earn upgrades for your vacumn that will help you in your journey! You have to clear out 4 areas in total. At the end of every area you have to fight a short boss that usually will kill you once or twice if you're good. I probably died a 5-20 times throughout the entire game. The game is straight forward on what you do usually. Clear out a room and get the key to the next. BEWARE! The game does create ghost that will challenge your mind. You'll be wondering how to defeat every room ghost. Every room ghost is different. There tends to be 7 in every area.
Another objective of the game is to catch boos and collect money. Money is what decides the rank you receive at the end of Luigi's Mansion. If you plan to get the maximum amount of money, I suggest collecting all of the boos in the game! (Hint alert!) The game isn't hard, but it's far from easy. You can find a lot of cool things put in this game for your gaming pleasure. This game provided me with a serious sense of accomplishment.
In general, I think that Luigi's Mansion is a fun filled game. If you haven't played through it.. go for it.
